陈为,1976年生,浙江大学计算机学院CAD&CG国家重点实验室,教授。1996年本科毕业于浙江大学应用数学系,2000年6月至2002年6月在德国Fraunhofer图形研究所攻读联合培养博士,2002年9月进入浙江大学工作,2009年12月晋升教授。2006年7月至2008年9月在美国普渡大学从事访问研究。已主持国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金1项、国家973项目子课题2项、863高科技项目1项,浙江省自然科学基金杰出青年基金1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目和浙江省自然科学基金各2项。已(含合作)培养博士研究生10名,硕士研究生22名。2005年获陆增镛CAD&CG 奖教金二等奖,2012年获浙江省科学技术奖二等奖,2014年获得教育部高校科技进步奖二等奖,CCF杰出演讲者(2014-2015)。


2004年起与耿卫东教授率先在国内开设《计算机游戏程序设计》课程,受到国内外广泛关注和好评,编著的课程教材被国内外10余所高校采用,并以繁体字在中国台湾地区出版。2010年该课程被评为国家精品课程。 2011年起为浙江大学计算机学院本科生开设“信息可视化”课程。2013年在国内主持举办“数据可视化”暑假教学研讨会,400余人参加。


研究兴趣包括可视化和可视分析。发表国际一流学术期刊和会议论文60余篇,包括30余篇IEEE/ACM Transactions和IEEE VIS论文。发表论文被国际同行他引1000余次(http://scholar.google.ch/citations?hl=en&user=EgQyYGUAAAAJ),出版著作3部,论文结果被选入国际学术论文集封面3次,2篇论文获IEEE Visualization最佳论文提名,1篇论文获IEEE CAD&CG大会最佳论文奖。获批美国、中国专利12项,中国软件注册4项,根据论文成果形成的关于弥散张量成像的可视化开源软件已经有数百次下载。


担任期刊《计算机辅助设计与图形学学报》编委。担任国际著名学术会议程序委员会委员20多次(IEEE Visualization, EuroVis, Pacific Graphics, CGI, Pacific Vis等)。担任VINCI国际会议大会主席(2010,2012),IEEE Pacific Visualization 2013大会论文主席,IEEE Pacific Visualization 2015、ACM SIGGRAPH ASIA 2016 Symposium on Visualization大会主席、IEEE VIS Symposium on LDAV 2017大会论文主席。
