Description

The study of variational methods is extremely important for engineering modeling and analysis. This one month short course is designed to give first year Ph.D. students a short introduction of variational methods and concepts of functional analysis.

Students entering the class should have a pre-existing working knowledge of mathematical analysis.

The course is open to Ph.D students of College of Computer Science, Zhejiang University.
