I was born in city of Jinan (Shandong
Province), which is also called the Spring City. After spending my childhood and
boyhood there, I entered the National University of Defense Technology as an
undergraduate student in the Department of Applied Mathematics in 1988. I got
my bachelor degree in 1992. Then I started my graduate study of Computer
Graphics and Computer-Aided Geometric Design in State Key Lab. of CAD&CG,
Zhejiang University. In 1997, I was graduated
and got my Ph.D in Department of Applied Mathematics, Zhejiang University.
Before I joined the same lab as a faculty member in 1999, I was a visiting
researcher in the University of Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg,
France) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong
(Hong Kong, P.R.China) successively. At the
end of 2003, I became a professor in the State Key Lab. of CAD&CG. My
research interests are computer graphics, computer-aided geometric design and
their applications.
