陈为,1976年生,浙江大学计算机学院CAD&CG国家重点实验室,教授。1996年本科毕业于浙江大学应用数学系,2000年6月至2002年6月在德国Fraunhofer图形研究所攻读联合培养博士,2002年9月进入浙江大学工作,2009年12月晋升教授。2006年7月至2008年9月在美国普渡大学从事访问研究。已主持国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、国家973项目子课题2项、863高科技项目1项,浙江省自然科学基金杰出青年基金1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目和浙江省自然科学基金各2项。已(含合作)培养博士研究生5名,硕士研究生12名。2005年获陆增镛CAD&CG 奖教金二等奖,2009年入选浙江省新世纪人才培养计划第三层次,2012年获浙江省科学技术奖二等奖,CCF高级会员,CCF杰出演讲者。


2004年起与耿卫东教授率先在国内开设《计算机游戏程序设计》课程,受到国内外广泛关注和好评,编著的课程教材被国内外10余所高校采用,并以繁体字在中国台湾地区出版。2010年该课程被评为国家精品课程。 2011年起为浙江大学计算机学院本科生开设“信息可视化”课程。2013年在国内首次主持举办“数据可视化”暑假教学研讨会,接近300人参加。


研究兴趣包括可视化和可视分析。发表国际一流学术期刊论文30余篇,包括9篇可视化国际顶级期刊(IEEE Transactions)。在欧洲图形学2008大会上作教程报告,论文入选国际顶尖会议(如IEEE Visualization, Eurographics, EuroVis)10余次,包括7次IEEE Visualization会议。中国大陆在可视化顶级会议IEEE Visualization发表的前3篇第一单位论文,全部由本人以第一作者身份发表。发表论文被国际同行他引800余次(http://scholar.google.ch/citations?hl=en&user=EgQyYGUAAAAJ),出版著作3部,论文结果被选入国际学术论文集封面3次,1篇论文获IEEE Visualization最佳论文题名,两次荣获中国计算机图形学大会优秀论文奖(2004,2008),获批美国、中国专利各2项,中国软件注册2项,根据论文成果形成的关于弥散张量成像的可视化开源软件已经有数百次下载。


担任期刊《计算机辅助设计与图形学学报》编委。担任国际著名学术会议程序委员会委员多次(IEEE Visualization, EuroVis, Pacific Graphics, CGI, Pacific Vis等)。担任IEEE Pacific Visualization 2011, 2012分论坛主席,VINCI国际会议大会主席(2010,2012),IEEE Pacific Visualization 2013大会论文主席。

 

陈为博士目前领导可视分析小组。毕业学生中, 多人次获得省级优秀毕业生称号,1人次获得浙江省挑战杯一等奖,赴美国、德国深造或访问交流30余人(UIUC, Purdue, HKUST, UNC, Rutegers, UC Davis, MPI, MSRA等,5人次在美国Bosch Research Lab作为实习生交流一年),在国内高校从事教学科研工作3人,在google, MSRA, Adobe, Nokia,Bosch Research, AutoDesk等公司工作10余人。研究合作伙伴包括国家气象局、Bosch Research、浙一医院、阿里数据产品部门、阿里云、Purdue University, MERL, MSRA,Harvard University, Brown University, University of Washington,等科研机构的人员,与HKUST,Purdue University, Mississippi State University, UC Davis, OSU, UNCC,NTU, Bosch Research等国内外科研院所建立了长期的实质性合作关系。 欢迎各地具有强烈的上进心和良好的数学与编程基础的本科同学或硕士研究生同学加入课题组。
