（课程主讲人尹康康近年来在角色动画领域发表了多篇很有影响的文章，是近几届SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia/Eurographics/SCA论文委员会成员，也是Pacific Graphics 2013的Program Co-Chair。希望大家把握这次难得的交流学习机会。本次课程是《计算机图形学研究进展》的一个课时，因此课程地点在玉泉而不是紫金港实验室，请希望参加的老师和同学特别留意。）

Abstract:：Character animation is the current bottleneck in Computer Graphics and creative media production. In this talk, we will look at some of the challenging problems in Character Animation, including data-driven animation, physics-based animation, and interactive animation systems. We will investigate these research directions with some of our own solutions published in recent years. If time permits, we will also briefly overview the PhD program of the department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore.

Speaker’s Bio：KangKang Yin is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing (SoC) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She obtained her BS and MSc from Zhejiang University (China),  and her PhD from the University of British Columbia (Canada).  She worked in Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing for two years before she moved to Singapore.
